It’s that time of year when the trees in New England explode into a glorious riot of color and I find myself
moving toward a vibrant palette of pigments which, as you can see, has dominated my new work lately.
I mean really, this whole color-thing has taken charge of the whole show!
And so................................................................
Here it is… the RESULT of pure color-love…
I lost the image in my paintings and have gone straight into color and Voila!
A new body of work in abstraction.
And I can’t stop.
So, I’m painting and posting, painting and posting to my website.
I better be careful, abstracts might just take over the whole gallery, but my word, do colors ever know how to sing.
And not just any song…I’m talking the hallelujah-chorus-of-thousands.
And wow, what these new abstracts do to a room is just insane. These paintings are game-changers. I have yet to hang one up that doesn’t bring out the best in every room.
SO there you have it.
Color Songs, from a New England painter who has fallen into the season and is singing with the sound of colors. THE HILLS ARE ALIVE!
XO,
Jan
